Abby Tozer

director - writer - actor - producer

Abby Tozer is an award-winning writer, director, actor and co-founder of A2C Entertainment. She has moved many times, is bilingual in French and English, and considers herself a citizen of the world. Her peripatetic childhood sparked both an interest in the Arts and in Neuroscience—earning her a degree in Molecular & Cellular Biology from UC Berkeley with a double minor in Jazz piano and Theater performance.

Equally scientific and creative, she quickly excelled in the world of filmmaking, founding her own production company and directing 8 original shorts in two years. Now, she draws from her multi-cultural background to create ambitious stories that blur the lines of art, science, and the human experience.

Her inspirations are Yorgos Lanthimos, Lynne Ramsay and Darren Aronofsky-- and recently, Rose Glass. If it's confusing, absurdist, scientifically accurate and makes people leave the theater halfway through, that's her genre. She is currently prepping her directorial debut to shoot in Q4 2025, a road-trip coming of age drama set in 1967.
